I’m Tyler Edwards, owner and welder at Set Apart Metal Works. I started this business to provide for my family, serve people well, and build a company around faith, honest work and skilled craftsmanship.
Whether I’m repairing a trailer on site, TIG welding aluminum, modifying a stainless process line or fabricating a custom solution, my goal is the same: communicate clearly, do dependable work, and treat every customer the way I would want to be treated.
Why “Set Apart”
The name means something. It is a reminder that the way we work should look different — honest communication, integrity when no one is watching, precision in the details, and a willingness to stand behind our work.
We believe a promise matters, a customer’s time matters, and a repair should be approached with the same care we would want on our own equipment. Our faith shapes how we serve customers, care for our families and take responsibility for the quality of the work — it is a standard for conduct, not a marketing label.
This is a family business in the plain sense: a local mobile welder based in Dickson, Tennessee, working for homeowners, contractors, fleets and food-and-beverage facilities across Middle Tennessee — and coming home to my family at the end of the day.
